A general reference for your budget
A U.S. comparison published by Dentaly in March 2025 lists zirconia veneers at $1,000–$2,500 per tooth. This is an editorial estimate from a commercial dental-information and referral platform—not a verified Los Angeles fee survey or Royalty Dental’s pricing. Its methodology and included services are not fully specified; use it as an initial reference, not an all-inclusive quote.
When comparing local estimates, first confirm that each quote is for the same restoration and lists the work included. The word “zirconia” identifies a material; it does not tell you everything about the proposed treatment.

Examples for several teeth
The totals below simply multiply the published per-tooth estimate by the number of teeth. They are illustrative calculations, not packages, Los Angeles market averages, or recommendations to treat a particular number of teeth. Additional treatment and visits may be priced separately.
| Number of teeth | Illustrative veneer-only total |
|---|---|
| 4 teeth | $4,000–$10,000 |
| 6 teeth | $6,000–$15,000 |
| 8 teeth | $8,000–$20,000 |
A veneer and a crown are different treatments
A veneer covers the front of a tooth; a crown covers the tooth more extensively. Ask your dentist to identify which is proposed, why it is appropriate, and how much natural tooth would be prepared. A zirconia crown price should not be presented as a zirconia veneer price.

Material choice deserves its own conversation
Zirconia and glass ceramics such as lithium disilicate are different materials, with different bonding considerations. Strength alone does not establish which veneer is appropriate. Ask how the proposed material relates to the appearance you want and the tooth structure available.
A systematic review published in the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry found that long-term clinical evidence for zirconia laminate veneers was limited. Findings about zirconia crowns cannot simply be applied to thin veneers. No material should be presented as a guarantee of a particular result or lifespan.
What should a Los Angeles quote include?
Ask for an itemized plan that identifies each tooth, the restoration type, and the material. Clarify whether the fee includes records or scans, laboratory work, any temporary restorations, preparation, placement, adjustments, and follow-up.
Ask separately about examinations, X-rays when needed, treatment of existing dental problems, and any recommended protective appliance. Confirm what happens if the plan changes and whether future repairs or replacements carry separate charges.
If you are planning around work or travel within Los Angeles, ask about the expected visit schedule and where adjustments would be provided. Knowing the complete plan is more useful than comparing a material name and a single number.
Insurance, payment, and your next step
Insurance generally excludes veneers placed solely for cosmetic reasons. Confirm any potential benefits directly with your plan. If financing is available, review eligibility, interest, fees, and the total repayment amount before choosing it.

Common questions
Is zirconia automatically the right veneer material?
No. Ask your dentist to explain the alternatives, the preparation involved, and why a particular material is being recommended for your teeth.
Does the published range guarantee my final cost?
No. It is a general U.S. reference, not a local quote. Obtain a written estimate for your examination findings and proposed treatment.
