Veneers still need daily care
A veneer does not protect the rest of the tooth from decay. Brush with fluoride toothpaste and clean between teeth daily. Avoid biting hard objects, and tell your dentist if your bite feels wrong after placement. Your team can show you how to care for the edges of your restorations.

Implants need follow-up, too
Follow the cleaning instructions provided for your implant and attend regular reviews. Contact your dental provider promptly if an implant feels loose or painful. Post-surgical instructions are specific to your procedure and take priority over a general article.
